Sanrios Hello Kitty x "Three Apples" Exhibition
Hello Kitty, despite some of her random merchandise, just got even hipper. After she teamed up with designer Dr. Romanelli for medical-themed T-shirts and toys, the fat cat will be featured in artwork by 80 of today's hottest artists in celebration of her 35th birthday. The exhibit, called "Three Apples," is a multi-dimensional art show featuring Hello Kitty in works by our favorite toy designers Gary Baseman (left), Ron English, Buff Monster, Frank Kozik and Tara Mcpherson, to name a few. The exhibit opens on October 23rd and lasts until November 15th at Culver City's Royal-T. The original artwork will also be for sale, with part of the proceeds going to community organization L.A.
