Kanye West x Spike Jonze's "We Were Once a Fairytale" MUST WATCH!

Kanye West is kinda weird and so is director Spike Jonze, so when the two iconoclasts go together to make a short film called "We Were Once A Fairytale" the result was bound to be just as strange as one would expect. The timing is perfect for Jonze since his ostensible kid's movie, "Where The Wild Things Are," has received acclaim from audiences and critics alike. And Kanye, in the wake of his VMA/Taylor Swift incident, seems to be putting out a slew of non-music material. The short features a drunk and emotional Kanye and a suprise ending that's a cross between "The Twilight Zone" and "The Muppet Show". This you've gotta to see to believe (though you probably won't understand it--we didn't). check out the video here!!: http://allhiphop.com/AllHipHopTV/?vid=21988024

House Of Hoops Grand Opening !

The Foot Locker House of Hoops name rings bells in every sneaker lover’s ear. Everybody would love for their city to have a House of Hoops that they can call their own, but so far, only a few places have been able to see that dream become a reality. Houston, Texas has now seen that dream materialize with the grand opening of not one, but two House of Hoops locations.
The first location (Galleria Mall), saw a packed and energetic grand opening event, which featured a Q&A section with Houston Rockets newly-acquired small forward Trevor Ariza. After that, Hip Hop legend Bun B was the master of ceremonies as he presented the
Nike and Foot Locker outstanding player of the year awards to two of Houston’s top high school basketball players.
The second location (Northline Mall) saw an equally-packed and up-beat event. However, this location featured a very informative Q&A from the Rockets point guard Aaron Brooks. After Aaron answered questions from the audience, he then added details about his on-court shoe for the 2009-2010 NBA season, the Nike Cradle Low. Cavi Fall '09

"Cavi (short for “caviar”) has laid its foundation on the short sleeve woven military shirt. Since the brand’s inception in 2004, the modern interpretation of the brand’s staple item has been, and continues to be, produced in New York City. Bypassing fashion’s recent “washed down” trend, Cavi’s clean and crisp aesthetic creates a timeless and masculine image."
“Military never goes out of style. It always has that rugged, masculine look, ” states Cavi founder Phil Gapud. The ability to combine a freshly starched shirt with a pair of raw denim was the goal of the brand since day one, but it’s the brand’s fearless use of color, high quality standard, and impeccable attention to detail that keeps the line fresh and captivating every season, putting its own modern twist on military."

"Cavi can be seen on the likes of Jay-Z, T.I., Fabolous and various other celebs. The brand got its start a few years ago and has managed to quickly build a reputation for style and quality. You can check the site to see what they got in store for the 08 Spring season." -

The sun may have set on summer, but the dark days of fall and winter ahead means we'll want to keep things bright, so check out our selection of 12 day-glo, pop watches (six for men, followed by six for women). For more of these cute watches go to : http://www.switched.com/2009/10/08/make-time-fly-with-hyper-color-pop-watches/

Giorgio Armani x Samsung

Who knew Giorgio Armani was such a gadget geek? The fashion label has hooked up with Samsung once again to introduce their first smartphone collabo. The bronze and black device, which will retail for about $1,030, runs on Microsoft's latest 6.5 OS and features a full touchscreen and slide-out, landscape QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5-inch AMOLED display, a 5 megapixel camera, 8GB of internal storage, GPS chip, and micro SD slot -- not bad for a pretty phone. With both TVs and smartphones already on the market, it will only be a matter of time before Armani drops his own tablet . . . probably before Apple. [Via Engadget]
